At Stryker Schools, art isn’t just a class—it’s a journey. Our Art Department invites students from 8th grade and beyond to explore, create, and express themselves through a wide range of inspiring courses designed to build skill, spark imagination, and grow confidence.
From the fundamentals in Art I Foundations, to the expressive world of 2-D Art, and the hands-on discovery in Ceramics and Glass, students learn to understand and apply the Elements and Principles of Art, experiment with diverse materials and techniques, and develop their own creative voice. Advanced learners can take their passion further with Independent Study Art, where artistic expression meets independent exploration.
Along the way, students build confidence in creative problem-solving, while learning to analyze and interpret artworks using the language of art.

Meet Mrs. Moser
Mrs. Moser earned her bachelor's degree in Art Education with a specialization in painting and a master's degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. She has been proudly teaching at Stryker Local Schools for the past 23 years, where she also serves as the Spanish Club and Art Club advisor.
She resides in the Stryker district with her husband and two sons. In her own creative practice, Mrs. Moser works in her favorite mediums of acrylic paint and fused glass, often blending the two to create unique and vibrant works of art. In addition to her fine art pieces, she enjoys crafting small fused glass jewelry and functional houseware items.
